"Yahoooing" in Dhaka

Dear friends. Here I sit in a cybercafe called "Yahooo!" listening to elevator music and feeling a little annoyed. So yes, my blog has been dormant for a bit while I've been off galavanting and accumulating stories. Today was to be the day where I posted my entry and my photos, and repaid the debt of information I owe to all of you. But there are technical difficulties! The computers here are super-slow, and some of my Mac files aren't transferring. This must be one of those times when I have to set aside my Western expectations for efficiency, and go with the local flow. *sigh*

Well, as a trailer, things are going really well. I've been having a great time learning about Dhaka, learning about CRWRC, and learning some Bangla. I will share some details soon, but right now I have to cross Airport Road, eat lunch at my guesthouse (the Leprosy Mission Guesthouse, affectionately referred to as "Leprosy"), then head to the office via baby taxi. Here's an old-school link to a baby taxi picture:

More to come, I promise!
